The Last Evaluation

The second appointment is when we have hand carved your wooden Last to your unique specifications and desired Toe shape.

 We will have formed a thermoplastic shell around your last, pitched on a heel to the correct height and carry out a further series of evaluation measurements and photographs. At this stage as well secondary measurements you will be asked for feedback on how the support feels under foot, and if you are happy with the toe shape.

After your lasts are evaluated and fine tuned, insoles and structural components are prepared, patterns are cut for your bespoke design, uppers are clicked and closed and your footwear is lasted.
