Leathers we use

We hold a vast stock and wide range of colourful upper and lining leathers, insole and stiffener leathers sourced and tanned from UK and Europe. We have good relationships with our leather merchants who are able to supply us a variety of good quality leathers.

Structural base Leathers

Oak bark tanned shoulder – Used for insoles, the base structure you’ll feel beneath your feet.

Oak bark tanned bellies – Used for stiffening and creating strength around the heels and toes.

Oak bark tanned bends – Used for soling and heeling.

Upper Leathers

Country Calf: Embossed ‘Scotchgrain’, medium weight, semi bright and slightly two tone.

Country Cow: Heavy Ox Hides, waxy pull up, vegetable re tanned

Italian Softee : Soft, tumbled, semi bright, and versatile.

Italian Veal : Classic, smooth, medium weight and handle, natural grain and semi bright.

Paintbox Metallic: Embossed, luxurious, soft, slouchy and a bright metallic finish.

Babybuck Nappa: Lightweight, soft, semi bright with a small milled grain.

Lamb Nappa: Dreamy, super soft, buttery and bouncy.

Nubuck: Cow hide with a Matt velvety touch similar feel to suede, tighter nap than Suede.

Suede: Cow hide with a nap velour finish, flexible and soft.

Suede Kid: Lightweight, velvety and velour.

Metallic Foiled: Kid and Cow.

Textured prints and rolled: Kid, Cow and Goat.

Fish: Salmon, perch, and Wolf fish.
